Here’s a quick recipe for Siracha Tuna Salad that’s inexpensive, flavorful and only has 2 grams of fat per serving!
2 Cans of Tuna
1 oz Greek Yogurt
1 tsp Siracha (add more if you like it hot!)
1 Cup Chopped Celery
1 Cup Chopped Onions (red or yellow)
1 Sprig Fresh Dill
1/4 tsp Dried Ground Cumin
Salt and Pepper to taste
Open cans of tuna. Mix in a bowl with Greek Yogurt, Celery, Onions, Dill, Cumin, Salt and Pepper.
Try it with some red cabbage, carrots and cucumbers for a quick salad or make a sandwich with some Ezekiel Bread! To up the heat factor, just add more Siraccha, it has no fat and only 15 calories per tsp! Personally, I love this recipe because the protein is so low in fat that I don’t feel too guilty about adding a little bit of cheese (and if you know me, you know I LOVE cheese).
